Join us for the second SWISH spring semester lunch in early May! Since our last lunch open discussion format with Rachael Garrett was such a hit, we've decided to follow-up with a second guest discussant--this time on the topic of "speaking up". We have invited Deborah Mülebach, a philosopher and current postdoc at Freie Universität Berlin, to chat with us about passive bystanders and strategies for active intervention in discriminatory situations. Mülebach together with Rebekka Hufendiek have written a great blog article on Bystander Training in Academic Space. We hope to discuss some of the strategies from the post, but also hope to hear some of your strategies for active engagement in discriminatory instances.
As always, lunch will be provided. Please register HERE so we know how many people to expect. Looking forward to seeing you all again!
